3 Steps to a Life Purpose Statement

Have you ever found yourself feeling unfulfilled or wondering what your true purpose in life is? Discovering your life purpose can be a daunting task, but it is an important step in living a fulfilling and meaningful life.

One way to begin the process of discovering your life purpose is by asking yourself three key questions:

1. What are my two key strengths?

Think about the things that you are naturally good at and that bring you a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. These are your strengths. It is important to focus on your top two strengths, as they are likely the ones that you will be able to contribute most effectively to the world.

2. How do I enjoy expressing these two qualities?

Now that you have identified your two key strengths, think about how you enjoy expressing them. Do you enjoy using your strengths to help others? Do you get a sense of accomplishment from creating something? Understanding how you enjoy expressing your strengths can give you a sense of direction and purpose.

3. What is my ideal world?

Finally, think about what your ideal world looks like. What kind of work do you envision yourself doing? What impact do you want to have on the world? What values are most important to you? Your ideal world should align with your strengths and how you enjoy expressing them.

By combining the answers to these three questions, you can form your life purpose statement. This statement should be a clear and concise description of your unique strengths, how you enjoy expressing them, and your vision for the world.

For example, if your two key strengths are creativity and problem-solving, and you enjoy using these strengths to help others, your life purpose statement might be something like; "My life purpose is to use my creativity and problem-solving skills to help others and make a positive impact in the world. I am most fulfilled when I am able to use my unique strengths to come up with innovative solutions to challenges and help those in need. My ideal world is one in which everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential and contribute to the greater good. I believe that by using my abilities to create positive change, I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and leave a lasting impact on the world.”

Discovering your life purpose can be a challenging and ongoing process, but it is a vital step in living a fulfilling and meaningful life. By asking yourself these three key questions and combining the answers to form a life purpose statement, you can gain clarity and direction, and begin to make a positive impact in the world.

I hope this helped you clarify your life purpose statement and give you greater clarity on the direction you want to take in your life. Now it is up to you to start taking action and moving in this newfound direction!

To Your Success,

Alec.
